I used to be a person who enjoys staying in certain comfort zone in almost in everything I do. Why? Because on that comfort zone I always succeed perhaps close to 0% fault tolerance . But then I realized that staying in that comfort zone will never give you growth and some times this may lead you into miserable.
When I was still in college and a student assistant in our school library. I can never forget the Director of DOLE in our province, he used to study and read a lot of books in the library and he knew me because I was the one who is searching for the books that he needed. There was one time he saw me with a girl chatting with, a day after that he approached me and started a chat.
He told me that he never saw me reading in the library and he saw me twice mingling with different girls. Then suddenly he uttered that "Girls do come and go, knowledge stays, your comfort zone will rotten your knowledge leaving you unprogressive". I replied with a fake smile (hehe) because first I was really pissed off, second the different girls he caught me chatting with were friends of mine and third I had no idea why he did said those words to me.
I think I finally knew what he tried to mean after finding below qoute.
